Skating champ fuels his need for speed, wins laurels

Aameen Khan of Std. VIII won gold at the TSA Skate Academy's Open Speed Skating Championship 2016 in the 1000 mts. event. He also won silver in the 500 mts. event.

At another venue, the Maharashtra State Open Skating Championship, Aameen won two gold, in the Road and Rink Races respectively in the Quad Speed category.

Way to go, Aameen!

Ramnath Payyade College of Hospitality Management Studies, Kurla, presented a musical instrument (crash cymbal) to the school band as a token of love and appreciation for the performance of our band boys at their Degree Distribution Ceremony. Special mention was made of the music master, Mr. Saby and another music enthusiast, Mr. Samir.

Don Bosco High School, Matunga received an award during the felicitation ceremony of school participants who had helped Bisleri achieve Guinness World Record for collecting the highest number of plastic bottles for recycling in Mumbai, on April 13, 2016. Spellinc 2015-16 - An all India Spelling Competition

Master Shivek Daswani and Master Parth Kapasi of Std. IX have bagged the 1st and 2nd place respectively and thus qualified to represent the school in the Mumbai Grand Finale as a Team in the Spellinc 2015-16 All India Spelling Competition. This final will be on 27th April at Chembur Fine Auditorium. We wish them all the best!
In the same competition held at the school level, consolation prizes were awarded to Shmit Jain, Aryan Nanda, Aman Singh, Moksh Jain, Dev Mehta, Tarun Kriplani, Neet Khimayat, Rishab Jain (all of Std. IX), Shaun Rodrigues and Gaurav Bohara (both of Std. VII).
